As I've mentioned, I'm switching over to english riding (I'll still ride western, though). I've needed a new saddle for a few months now. Initially, I was planning on buying a western saddle. But, with the discipline change, I ended up buying an english saddle. I bought a Stubben Wotan.
It's in pretty good condition, other than that rather large stain. But, that will be covered up when riding. It comes with the leathers, irons, and a matching Stubben bridle. I only paid $350 including shipping, so I think I got a fairly good price on it. I'm excited to try it on the boys when it gets here!
It's been so cold and crappy here, that didn't ride for 3 days! Today I got on Bones bareback for a bit. When cantered for our first time! Also, you can reeeeally notice his bouncy trot while riding bareback! After we rode in the arena for a while, we took a nice, calm, ride down the driveway and around the farm.
I'm going to try and ride tomorrow before work, if it isn't too cold.
Keep warm everyone!

I hope I like it. I've heard mixed reviews on the Wotan! Good too hear a positive one! ;)
