It's been a slow few days at the barn. I haven't ridden Bones since the trail ride. I plan on riding him this evening, but who knows what will happen. It's been so cold and crappy out I don't feel like haning around the barn. I've been leaving Bones in the stall blanketed at night lately. He is on pasture board but we have a stall for George that I use. I don't have a turnout blanket for Bones yet so I don't like keeping him out at night. Thankfully we do have a nice stable blanket that fits him pretty well. George got a thin-ish turnout blanket yesterday from the ever-so-generous Steve! It's an ugly rust color, and I don't know if it will be able to tough out the winter months but we will give it a try. That's about it really.. I will post another blog tonight or tomorrow if I end up riding Bones.
