Basil is an 11 year old Anglo Arabian. He is about 15.1 hands, and just beautiful. He is currently FAT but, in my opinion, that's better than dealing with a skinny horse. He was getting 1/2 scoop of Strategy 2x a day at his old home. I am going to be switching him to a ration balancer.
Basil has of jumping and hunter jumper training, and show, experience. He had been in the same family for several years and the two teenage girls have moved on to other horses, so it was time for Basil to move on as well.
He does bite. Apparently it is is during feeding and tacking up. I just got him yesterday, but he hasn't tried to bite me yet. Judging by his ground manners, I would say his biting has a lot to do with lack of respect rather than a pain issue. But, time will tell.
I'm super excited to own this horse.

He's cute!
