Cross post- PLEASE READ!

Moe is a TB at the barn I board at. I was initially looking to lease him a few months ago. About a month ago his owner contacted me and told me I can buy him for $300, but he had to go soon. I went to look at him and he had a major stifle issue, and was underweight. I told a trainer at my boarding place about him and she just couldn't get him out of her mind. She talked with the girl who had him, and they agreed that Angie (the trainer) would take him for "free". It turns out that Moe has EPM. Angie is doing everything she can for him, but needs to ask for help. Here is a little bit on the situation from Angie:

"

As you all know I took in a 4 year old TB that was headed to Sugar Creek about 3 weeks ago.I immediatley knew that something was terribly wrong with him and had the vet out.Turned out to be EPM.I named him Me In Motion to give him and others hope that he would one day be back on his feet and "in motion".He is called Mo...e for short. The vet rated him on a scale of 1 to 10 as an 8. He was dragging and locking his hind left leg and had no balance. My vets recomendation was to put him on Sulfa/Pyrameth 333mg/16.7mg/ml for 30 days to see if he showed any signs of improvement. Well, he has! Major, unbelievable improvement. Here is where the problem lies. When he is done with this ... See Moreround of meds his symptoms will return. This medication does not kill the protazoa, it simply causes them to settle down and not be able to reproduce. He will need to be treated with atleast on round, if not more of Marquis to actually kill off the bugs that plaque him. I am in no position to be able to afford this type of medication so it was recommended to me by a close friend that I set up an account for Moe on paypal and see if people wouldn't be willing to help this young gelding out. So if anyone is able to help Moe he has a paypal account under marquis4moe@yahoo.com. I will put every penny that is donated toward his vet expenses and recovery. I just want to see this guy get back on his feet and be the awesome thoroughbred he was meant to be. I truly appreciate everyones support through all this and will keep updating as he progresses. God Bless and Thank You

"

So please donate anything you can to the Moe fund. He is an amazing horse and really deserves a chance.
