Animal shit will be the death of me

Going from doing nothing for about a month to doing actual work blows. Cleaning 25-30 stalls is a tough job! Today just really sucked, so many things went wrong. Bleh, I won't vent here.

I've had several people call about Bones, but no one else has came to look at him. I'm seriously leaning towards taking his ads down for good. He's honestly a really nice horse and I'm just attached to his sweet face. =)
An older man checked out George today as a trail horse for his wife. He seemed to like him okay, but has to show his wife the pics and discuss it with her. George did pretty well with him. I hope I can find a buyer for him before the month is up. I think it's time to lower his price.

I've taken Bones out on the trail a tiny bit alone at the new farm twice now. He is doing verrrry well. I haven't had another lesson yet, maybe this week?

The other day I looked at a coming two year old (July) AQHA filly. What a little pistol. She supposedly hasn't been worked with a whole ton. She is in serious need of some manners and respect! She had a few fits, but nothing that turned me off from her (maybe they should have). The lady is interested in trading my saddle for her, so that would work out nicely. But, the thing is, she has strangles. She is in the finishing stages of it and the seller has agreed to let me keep her there until she is COMPLETELY clear of any and all signs of it.

Here are a few pics, try to ignore her horrible dirtiness and imagine a clean, groomed, presentable filly!
Check out that mane and forelock!
