Ahhh! I'm so excited!
So, there is an Arab at the new barn that is (well, I guess was..) for sale. I rode him today and now somehow he is mine!
The barn owner is going to let me work of his purchase price ($1000) at $10 an hour. And guess what work I'll be doing? RIDING HORSES! How freaking perfect.
His name is Areme (I don't think that's spelled right at all) but, Arty for short. He is a 15.2-15.3HH Polish Arabian.
I don't have any pictures yet, but trust me.. many are soon to come!
EDIT: Scratch that! I do have a picture I took of him one day when I was cleaning stalls.

ReplyDeleteI don't know yet. I'm thinking barrels is going to be my thing for a while! They were planning on using him for a hunter, buttt idk about all of that. Lol
ReplyDeleteYou will have to post more pics soon! lol I would love to see this guy move. If they were planning on using him as a hunter then he must already has a nice training foundation, plus with the things you plan to teach him your going to have a great all around horse! Im so excited for you!

ReplyDeleteHe's actually just been a trail horse his whole life. There is a hunter trainer at the barn, so anything she can get her hands on she turns into a hunter! Lol I'm going to post pics tonight, he's such a cutie!
