Hello, 2010!

I suppose I should write something about 2010. Something along the lines of resolutions of some sort. A few things that I'd like to accomplish this year are:

-Start taking lessons. I'd like to start of with basic lessons. The only lessons I've had were when I was about 10. I took quite a bit of lessons, but I didn't really know that is what I was doing, Lol! I think setting a goal of 2 lessons a month will suffice.
-Get Bones at a solid W/T/C. Simple enough.
-Decide on a "first career" for Bones. Start him in this career with the help of a trainer. I don't want to just send him away to be trained. I want the trainer to come to the barn I am boarding at and work with him there. I'm okay if it takes longer to achieve the goal this way, I just think it's necessary to be a huge part of his training, since I am the one who will be riding him!
-Get a truck a trailer. This one is a little far fetched seeing how I am broke.. BUT!, who knows what 2010 will bring! I would love a trailer for obviously so many reasons. Off site trail riding, any shows I may want to attend (psht, doubt that will happen either!), so I wouldn't have to have someone else haul my horses anywhere! It'd be sweet to have my own trailer. A simple, older two horse would be just fine for me. Bones and George both agree with two horse trailers, even the smaller ones. But, preferably, I would like to have a nice sized stock trailer. Nothing too huge, though. As far as trucks go.. pretty much anything that can haul the trailer I pick out will do. I love older trucks, as well as newer ones.
-Get into showing. Even if it is just getting my feet wet (or damp). This is a teeny tiny goal, but.. I would like to attend at least one show.
-Buy a saddle that fits well on Bones. Duh, this should have been at the top of the list (PS-the list is in no particular order). First a western saddle, then I'd like to get an english one as well. I think Bones would look just adorable under english tack.

Well, that's it for now. Maybe I'll add some things to the list as the year goes on.
