This group is a mixed herd. There are some Sugarcreek horses, some of my bosses personal horses, etc. This is at a pasture/barn that my boss is leasing so we have a place to let the babies be turned out and grow right.
Paprika (still haven't decided on a new name. HELP!)
"Pistol Annie" and Donk. Both of these guys came from Sugarcreek. Annie is a weanling/yearling and quite the challenger. My friend/co-worker, Ryan and his girlfriend are buying Annie. They've done great work with her so far!
Not sure of her name, but this is a beautiful Arabian filly that my boss bred. She is no longer breeding Arabians due to the lack of demand, but she has a stunning black Arabian stallion. She also still has a few mares and several very nice weanlings-2 year olds.

Paprika with Annie and Arab filly in the backgound.
Sleepy Paprika with Annie being a creep in the background. Annie loves to hide. ;)
This guy came in awful condition, and has really been struggling. We have high hopes for a full rehab on him.
Some of the group.
Arab filly and Annie kept grooming and rubbing on Paprika while she was tied.
LOVE this donkey. Sooooo friendly.
This is "Tarzan", the resident old man.
Ginger got a bath today. =)

She kinda looks like a Lola...a Stella...or a Betty. I know they are Old Lady names, but she is defiantly not a Paprika as its a red spice. I love her!
ReplyDeleteI kind of want a Mystical name. Or something of the sort. That's exactly what I said about Paprika.. why she got that name in the first place is beyond me Lol
