Sorry for the lack of posts. I've been at the barn 24/7, it seems.
Last week I rode Bones nearly everyday. A few times in English tack, and a few times in Western. We went on the trail for a little bit one day to work him up and down hills for his stifles.
I really don't remember the details of each ride, but I know he has been doing good! Lol
A couple of days ago I asked one of the guys at the barn to get on Bones and just put his legs and arms all over Bones, touch his flanks, etc. And put things like a ball cap and plastic bag all over him as well. Just to desensitize him to that kind of stuff.
