Someone came to look at Bones this week. And, frankly, I think he was a liar and just wanted to re-sell him. Which really put me off on selling him.. I can't stand the thought of him becoming abused or starved again. But, a nice lady that has many years experience with Arabians is coming to check him out today for a lease. This would be the perfect situation for me and Bones. The lady also has many years dressage experience, so Bones would get some dressage training! I really hope this works out!
Also, today a lady is coming to look at George. She is wanting to trade her Percheron/TB (minimal TB) gelding for him. Her Perch is a doll! She sounds like a wonderful home for George, and she doesn't mind signing my little "first right to refusal" contract. She actually would want one for her gelding, too.
Anyways, I have to get ready to go meet these people at the barn!
Here is Samson, the Percheron
Oh yeah! Today is my 1 year anniversary with Jon (my fiance)! I love you boo face! =D

I’m so glad your being picky about who buys/leases your horses! Both your horses deserve the best. I wish I would have had a first right to refusal contract on the draft cross I sold when I was a teen. I've lost contact with the owners and always worry about him. Good luck with the potential leaser! Keep us updated!
ReplyDeleteThe lady who came to look at Bones decided against him because she said his right hind leg looked a little stiff. Otherwise, she loved him. The people that looked at George seemed to like him, but when I e-mailed about coming to see the horse they wanted to trade, she said she wants to think about it. Which I understand, but I just don't think it'll work out.
