Bones and George are for sale

I've decided to put Bones and George up for sale. I want to try my hand at many disciplines and need a horse to share that journey with. Bones is honestly just too small for me. He has great potential to do many things, but I think our time together is over. I could keep him, but I'm afraid I'd be robbing him of a special bond with someone else.

On the other hand, George is not going to be able to do what I am wanting to pursue. He is a wonderful trail horse, but that is where his potential stops. His old owner has contacted me and says she is very interested in buying him back, I really hope that works out. I know he'll have a good home with her, and he'll be close.
I won't sell either of them unless I am 100% sure that they are a great home who can handle them. I also will require things such as frequent (at least semi-frequent) updates and a few in-person visits. I have Bones priced at $1000, and George at $1200.

I really hate to sell either of them, I'm afraid that something will go wrong and they'll end up starved, beaten, or at a kill sale. I know these are horrible thoughts, but I can't help but to think them. I want the very best for my boys, they deserve it.

Anyways, Bones is doing great with lunging and riding. He responds very well to voice commands. He needs work on his downwards transitions, they're very .. uhh.. rough? Especially from canter to trot. It's all a work in progress, though!

George has been rubbing his mane off on the round bale feeder, I was thinking about roaching it. Any thoughts?
