All settled in

Last Sunday we moved the boys back to Magic Meadow Stable. It was an easy move, the two farms are no more than 5 minutes from each other. Bones and Kazi loaded into the trailer with minimal "convincing". Kazi did well on the ride over, but Bones worked up a nice sweat. I took them into the main isle in the barn and put them in cross ties. Both of them settled in quite nicely, and Bones quickly relax and dried from all of the sweat.
Kazi and I took a walk around the perimeter of the indoor to refresh his memory that the image in the mirrors is only himself, not the boogieman! Then I walked Bones and Kaz out to their new field. Right now they are in a pasture with a run-in-shed, and Natalie (BO) opened the gate to the pasture next to it so they have access to more room and grass.
Macci is their only pasture mate right now. He's a Arab/App cross gelding. His owner NEVER comes out to see/mess with/ride him. He is distrusting by nature, and the fact that no one messes with him certainly doesn't help the situation! Anyways, Monday I couldn't catch either of them because Macci freaked out when I came into the field, and started running around.. making my horses freak out and run around! Argh. I stood in the rain for like 20 minutes trying to catch them. Lol
The past couple of days I've been taking grain and treats out and they come right to me. Tomorrow I'm going to try just taking treats, and see how that goes.
I've gotten a few good rides out of each of the boys since the move. I've been working them on the lunge line in side-reins before each ride, and they're both catching on really nicely.

Kazi is still for sale, and there is a person from Canada that is really interested in purchasing him. They asked for videos today, so I plan on taking a couple tomorrow and see where it goes from there.
The lease with Bones is still on for June. Mia is coming out on May 16th spend some more time with Bones.
