Who is Bones?

As I've mentioned on here several times, I've been consistently trying to figure out Bones is. When I adopted him, they only told me his age and breed. They wouldn't give me any other information, not even the contact information to who they got him from (who made him emaciated). I have posted many ads on many websites, hoping someone would recognize him. 

Well, someone finally has! I had an ad on Craigslist to lease Bones, and his old owner called me. They owned him from when he was born up until he was 3 or 4 years old. They sold him because he was too high-strung, and too much horse for them. Apparently the people who the sold him to also sold him for the same reasons. After that, it's unclear where he was and what happened before I adopted him. 

The first owner never registered him, they said he had an "ugly head". I don't know if that is the reason for not registering him, but the fact is they didn't. They never started him under-saddle, and aren't sure if the people they sold him to did. When I adopted him, the "rescue" told me that someone had led kids around on him. So, that may be the only "under-saddle" training he had, prior to being with me. 

So, who is Bones?

I want the old owners to come out and confirm that it is indeed the same horse. Everything that we discussed adds up to it being Bones, but I still want to be positive.

I'm just so happy to finally know who he is!
