Another move, and back to work!

It's been a fairly busy week so far. Monday I moved Bones and Ollie back to Magic Meadow Stables ( the place they were, where I cleaned stalls in exchange for board ). This time, I am going to be cleaning stalls+working some of their horses. They just have so many horses, and not enough time to get to them all. I'll just be grooming, lunging, doing ground work, and riding a few. Which is great with me, I'd rather be working with horses vs. cleaning stalls! Lol

I have started to ride Bones again. Most at the walk, with a couple minutes of easy trotting at the end of the ride. Yesterday I rode him for close to an hour. This is a good time for us to work on neck reining, touching up his "whoa", patience, etc. I'll slowly bring him up to more trotting, and eventually cantering. I'm also going to continue taking him up and down hills to build muscles around his stifles. At Magic Meadow, they have some nice trails with several decent hills to work with, so that's very nice.

Referred to by Angie, I put Bones on MSM. I don't really know if I am to expect a difference in him, or what. When the vet was out about Bones' lameness issues, I asked if I should put him on a supplement and he said it would be a good idea. So, I'll give this a shot and go from there.
