Yeah, seriously...

I sold Kazi to buy a big, tall, young, Thoroughbred oozing with potential for Eventing. I don't know why I ended up with a 15.2H, 15 year old, Arabian. I don't regret taking Rio in anyway, in the short time I've had him, I've learned a TON. But the more I think about it, the more I realize that I will never be satisfied with him. I know that's a messed up thing to say, but it's the truth.

Basically, Rio is going to a new (great) home, and I am getting a mare.
Rio deserves to have an owner who appreciates him for the awesome horse he is.. and that won't be me.. no matter how much I am attached to him.

The mare is a 4 year old, 16.1H chestnut Thoroughbred. She has been on turn out since she retired from the track, in June. She is going to be a HUGE project. Honestly, I haven't even gone to see her. I am picking her up on Wednesday, and taking a big risk doing so. It's a 6+ hour round trip, so even if she isn't the gorgeous 16.1H mare that she is in the pictures, I'm taking her home. Worst comes to worst, I ride her for a month, and sell her.
Obviously, if she is lame, or psycho, I'll suck it up and head home with an empty trailer.
Call me stupid, call me naive.. but whatever! I'm doing it! Lol
Oh yeah.. I'm getting her at the very reasonable price that begins and ends in "0".

Registered name is "Hell on the Heart". Barn name is "Heart". I really don't like that, so I'm taking name suggestions! So far I like Aria, and Callie. What do you think?

  1. Too bad Rio didn't work out!
This new girl looks like a sweety though. I think Aria would suit her.
